Article 2 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, and deliveries of Vedoir (KvK 86850652).
Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
Article 3 – Warranty
The seller provides a 24-month warranty on the watch from the date of purchase.
The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and faults that were demonstrably present at the time of delivery.
Warranty exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
-
Damage caused by misuse, such as drops, impacts, scratches, or improper handling.
-
Water damage beyond the specified water resistance of 50 meters. Although the watch is water resistant up to 50 meters, this is not covered under warranty as users may forget to properly secure the crown or make other errors. The watch is suitable for daily use, but swimming—especially in salt water—is not recommended.
-
Normal wear and tear, such as discoloration of the strap or scratches on the case or glass.
-
Battery replacement, unless defective within the first 3 months.
-
Damage due to improper maintenance or modifications by third parties (e.g., opening the case or aftermarket alterations).
If a defect is found and covered under warranty, the seller will, at their discretion:
-
Repair the product, or
-
Provide a replacement watch, or
-
Offer a partial or full refund.
The buyer must submit a warranty claim in writing or by email, with a clear description of the defect and proof of purchase.
Article 4 – Liability
The seller is only liable for defects that were already present at the time of delivery.
The seller is not liable for:
-
Indirect damage, consequential loss, or lost profits caused by a defective watch.
-
Improper use of the product.
-
Damage caused by third parties or external factors.
The seller’s maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
Article 5 – Returns & Right of Withdrawal
The buyer has a legal right of withdrawal for 14 days after receiving the product, without needing to state a reason.
The product must be returned unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
Exclusions from the right of withdrawal:
-
Custom-made or personalized watches.
-
Watches with visible signs of use.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless otherwise agreed.
Once the returned product is received and inspected, a refund will be issued within 14 days via the original payment method.
Article 6 – Payment & Delivery
Payment must be made using the payment methods provided on the website.
The watch will be shipped within the agreed delivery timeframe. If delays occur, the buyer will be informed.
The seller is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
Article 7 – Water Resistance & User Responsibility
The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters. This means it can withstand splashes and brief exposure to water (e.g., hand washing, rain).
Not covered under warranty:
-
Submerging in water, swimming, showering, or diving with the watch.
-
Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, salt water, or sweat.
-
Condensation inside the watch due to temperature changes.
Article 8 – Force Majeure
The seller is not liable for delays or failure to fulfill obligations due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, transportation issues).
In such cases, the seller has the right to suspend or cancel the agreement without compensation.
Article 9 – Intellectual Property
All designs, logos, texts, and product images of Vedoir (KvK 86850652) are intellectual property and may not be used without permission.
Violation of intellectual property rights may result in legal action.
